Spamalot

After glancing at the date on my calendar accidentally yesterday, I suddenly remembered that my mother had bought tickets for my girlfriend and I to see Spamalot on Broadway. Needless to say I spazzed as it was at 4:30 that I realized we had tickets and the show started at 8:00. I called my girlfriend and hurriedly packed my crap up at work and rushed into the city, picked her up, and made it to the theater with enough time to guzzle an overpriced drink before the first act.

The play was pretty good. Taking the most famously funny scenes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail and renacting them on stage, which is funny since the original material from the movie is itself classic, but having seen the movie about a month ago the jokes were still pretty fresh in my head and did not illicit much laughter from me. There were some really funny original acts that had me dying and saved the show. Firstly, the whole act where King Arthur is told to create a Broadway show by the knights (who until recently) said Nee, and Robin informs him that they cannot make it to Broadway without any Jews, and then proceeds to sing and dance about it doing renditions of Yentil, Fiddler on the Roof, and Hava Negila(sp?). Oh and Hank Azaria's many parts were all great and stole the show.

Look forward for next post which hopefully will be filled with crazy AC pics as I am spending Saturday night there with seven buddies.

Laaaater.

Lord Baltz

I found this guys blog to be very interesting: http://lordbaltz.blogspot.com/

I thnk I might add him to my links. Serious issues, still pretty amusing, caught myself laughing a couple of times. From what it seems he is some dude living in Amsterdam, perhaps going to school, he has trouble getting women and suffers from very low self-esteem. Oh, and he Fucks Sick. Just read it.

Blog...to the FACE

Since I linked this blog to my "Myspace" and "Friendster" profiles I have noticed over the last two weeks a sharp increase in commentary amongst my friends and family regarding its existence. Not sure how to react to this. Unfortunately, I actually feel this is a complete waste of time and pretty much a lame attempt to provide random people with intimate knowledge of my otherwise dismal everyday life. Which is really sad. Although, I will never divulge the really sacred parts of my life, or rather was explicitly told not to by someone very dear to me, I will on the other hand make this a repository for events in my life that I find noteworthy enough to wet the appetites of anyone who bothers to view it.

One of my friends actually summed up my feelings about blogging in a comment on my "Myspace" profile that read:

Blogs are for geeks.

That was from Mango, and Mango wishes he could blog, but he can't. Mango once had a blog, for about a day, if Mango were to blog again I suggest he title it "Blogango" or "Blango" or something to that effect. That would be funny. It is also funny that I have a friend named Mango. I like mangos. Remind me to post a great jalapeƱo pickled mango recipe, its amazing.

Recent Observations:

1. I am addicted to Pokerstars online poker and EA Sports FIFA 2006, which ties directly into my obsession with English Premier League Football (Soccer) and the FOX Soccer Channel.

2. I just heard Chuck Norris use the word "Slenderize" in an infomercial and thought that it was justifiable.

3. When driving in Manhattan, especially on cross streets, have you ever realized that your car almost always fits in the tiny of places while speeding? Mine does.

The Holidays

I was close to not even publishing this post deeming it too juvenile and overly gay, yet since I spent about an hour and a half putting it together I had to.

The holidays kicked off with an Islander game on the 23rd of December with a bunch of old friends that hadn't been collectively together in a long time. Immaturity and drunkedness beckoned, and can only be explained through pictures, here are a few:

The night starts at Harry's:

The Game:

Van Ride:

Greg and Rome, pumped.

Tacs, Joe and I, spazzing.

Looking stupid.

Warming up to the flask.

The Bar:

Great shot of the bar.

"Hi, my names Andy, whats yours?"

"...all in my mouth."

Ladies.

BOMBS

Bombs in action. With this guys fat bloated head in the way, which was fortunately enough, proportional to his ego.

Molestation:

"I love this guy!"

"No, I MEAN I REALLY love this guy!"

"Give me some love."

"I need some more."

"I love you so much."

Ahhh...the euphoria of "afterglow".

Someone's all smiles about it.

The Mauling:

"Is someone getting mauled behind me?"

Aggressive

Mauled
